Baked Garlic Zucchini Crisps

I've been curious to try making crispy zucchini chips for a while now.  I am not a fan of potato chips at all, but I do enjoy a good salty snack.

These zucchini crisps are crunchy, garlicky and not as fattening as fried potato chips, which is always a plus, though probably an acquired taste if you are a potato chip junkie.

Baked Garlic Zucchini Crisps

Ingredients:

1-2 small zucchini
1 tsp garlic powder
salt & pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425.

Slice your zucchini about 1/8"-1/4" thick.  Press the slices between paper towels to remove the excess moisture.  Sprinkle with garlic powder and salt & pepper.

Place the zucchini slices on a silpat lined baking sheet.  Bake for 40 minutes, flip the slices over and bake an additional 20 minutes or until crispy.

Enjoy!
