Seriously, they are delicious!
Now, I know that pumpkin isn't a fruit, but it makes for a delightful autumnal butter.
Bruce had never had pumpkin butter before, and I am honestly not entirely sure he is 100% on board with the idea of it, but if not, I guess that is more for me!
Pumpkin Butter
Ingredients:
15 oz can pumpkin
1 c. white sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 Tbs maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp cloves
Directions:
Place ingredients in a 2-quart crock pot and mix thoroughly.
Cook on high for 3 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent burning along the sides.
