S'mores Peeps

Bruce is of the opinion that Easter has the best candy of the year.  With one exception.  Neither of us like "Peeps".  Y'know, those little marshmallow critters coated in sugar?  Yeah...those are pretty gross.

But I think the bunnies are pretty cute.  So I decided to shake it up a little and make s'mores with my peeps.  But!  Instead of making a traditional s'more, what could be cuter than coating the little bunny in chocolate and dipping it in graham cracker crumbs?

Not much.  These little guys are adorable AND delicious!

S'mores Peeps

Ingredients:

1 package Bunny Peeps

12 oz chocolate of choice

1 c. graham cracker crumbs

Directions:

Separate your peeps.  Melt the chocolate and place in a tall container (like a wide-mouth jar).  Use a long skewer to dip the peep in the chocolate, and use another skewer to gently scrape the excess from all sides.  Immediately dip in crushed graham cracker crumbs.

Place on waxed paper and allow to set in the refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened.
