The Last Waffle Recipe You'll Ever Need

I realized that i haven't posted a basic waffle recipe until now.

Though Belgian waffles are fun and supremely delicious, sometimes it is nice to just have a go-to waffle recipe that doesn't require whipping egg whites and all of that extra work.

These waffles are crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside, basically, this is the last waffle recipe you will ever need.  Ever.

The Last Waffle Recipe You'll Ever Need

Ingredients:

2 c. flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
2 Tbs sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. warm milk
1/3 c. butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Preheat your waffle iron.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.  Stir in the eggs, warm milk, butter and vanilla and mix until thoroughly combined.

Pour onto your waffle iron, be careful not to fill it to the edges, as it will definitely expand while baking and seep out of the sides.

Top with you favorite syrup, fruit, nut butter, etc...

Enjoy!
